Promoter Eddie Hearn has been stating that he has a plan to have Canelo Alvarez and Gennadiy Golovkin fight for a third time this coming December 2020. Alvarez would have to face Billy Joe Saunders in the fall and next up would be “GGG.” After that fight he would need to defend his title against mandatory challenger Kamil Szeremeta in late fall. Then the rivals would have to meet again before the end of the 2020.
