CES MMA announces a title fight scheduled for CES 61. The event takes place on Friday, April 24, 2020, live on UFC Fight Pass at Twin River Casino in Lincoln, Rhode Island.
In the main event, Blaine Shutt will defend his CES flyweight title for the first time against DWCS vet Richie Santiago on April 24 at Twin River Casino in Lincoln, R.I., on UFC Fight Pass. Blaine won the inaugural flyweight championship at CES most recent event, and Richie is a homegrown CES fighter with a big following in New England he’s from the area and all but one of his pro fights have been with CES. Both fighters gave a statement to FightBook MMA about their fight below.
Blain Shutt states:
You ain’t seen nothing yet. He’s just another great fighter in an unappreciated division and we’ll put on a fight to change that.
Richie Santiago states:

I feel good Blaine is a tough opponent but after watching his performance against Johnny Lopez I’m confident I will walk away with the belt. Winning this belt will be a huge accomplishment and even better it will help me to get to the UFC or back to the contender series.
Stay tuned as we will have more information regarding this event with full details on the fight card.
