Combat FC Returns: Three World MMA Title Fights This Friday Night

WILMINGTON, Mass. — Combat FC® returns tomorrow night (May 24) to The Shriners Auditorium in Wilmington, MA, as Boston’s Live MMA promotion airs exclusively on UFC FIGHTPASS with an absolutely loaded card featuring three action-packed World Championship bouts. 

The main event features Greenwich, RI’s John Douma (8-4) defending his CombatFC® Bantamweight title against UFC Dana White Contender Series veteran Ashiek Ajim (7-3). In our co-main event of the evening, Boston’s own “Captain America” Gerry Meuse puts his undefeated record on the line when he meets Damion Nelson out of Longo-Weidman MMA for the CombatFC® Featherweight title as Nelson looks to build momentum after a stunning upset of UFC veteran Don Shainis at Combat FC 6.

Tickets will also be available to purchase at the doors.

Lastly but certainly not least, Philadelphia’s Firdavs Khasanov (9-4) will throw-down with Carlos Loyoza (8-4) for the vacant Combat FC Flyweight title.

In addition, UFC veteran Nick Fiore, hailing from Derry, NH, is set to take on Brazil’s Gustavo Coelho in a welterweight matchup between two elite jiu-jitsu players. Also on the card is hard hitting fan favorite Travis “The Outlaw” Demko, out of Stoughton, MA, along with Pelham, NH’s “War Boy” Josh Medeiros

Fans can expect Combat FC® 7 to provide the New England faithful with the biggest and best talent on the New England MMA scene, as these warriors look to make the next step in their martial arts careers. With 13 action-packed MMA bouts, Combat FC 7 is sure to deliver an exhilarating night featuring some of the stars of tomorrow and today alike.
