Combat Sambo World Champion confident in capturing the world championship title


Velimurad Alkhasov is undergoing an intensive camp at KHK MMA post winning his promotional debut at Brave 14 hosted in Tangier, Morocco. The 2016 Combat Sambo World Champion has announced his intentions to capture that Flyweight world championship title at Brave Combat Federation. The flyweight from Dagestan, Russia is undefeated in his professional career with 5 wins. Alkhasov will be facing Marcel Adur from Brazil at Brave 18 which will take place in Bahrain on 16th November.

Marcel Adur has three appearances in Brave Combat Federation winning all the three bouts by knockouts. The bout marks the classic face off between a striker against a grappler. Leading to the bout, Alkhasov is currently preparing for his bout with KHK MMA Fight Team in Bahrain. KHK MMA Fight Team is headed by veteran coach and lightweight fighter, Eldar Eldarov.

“I am glad to have my camp in KHK MMA. With a huge number of fighters set to compete, I feel really good here. Paying attention to my camps in past, I surely can say, that my camp in KHK MMA is the best in my career. Now I am training under Esed Emiragaev and Eldar Eldarov. They had helped with my preparation and plan on fight. My opponent is good. His base is Muay Thai, which means he will be good in striking.”, commented Alkhasov.

Alkhasov is a former ACB Flyweight champions and had expressed that he will be competing in Brave Combat Federation for the near future. Alkhasov made a splash to the growing flyweight division after the dominating victory against Sean Santella. Alkhasov is the first fighter out of Dagestan in Brave Combat Federation who is offered a world championship title opportunity.

The valuable opportunity to fight around the world and to understand different cultures open up the sport in a big way. I am sure that if I can win the championship, it will be huge as I will be the first to be crowned a champion from my nation”, added Alkhasov, 2016 Combat Sambo World Champion.
