Los Angeles: Veteran national television sports journalist Max Bretos and MMA superstar Julianna Peña are currently the color commentators for the Network’s English-language broadcasts of the world’s premier Hispanic Mixed Martial Arts franchise Combate Americas.
Max Bretos is an acclaimed sports reporter and announcer, credited as a driving force in advancing ESPN’s Hispanic presence. Bretos has worked with sports outlets such as Fox Sports, ESPN, WWE, and Sky Sports, and is currently the lead broadcaster for LAFC (Los Angeles Football Club). Peña is a top 5 world-ranked bantamweight fighter with over 10 years of competitive experience in MMA. In 2013, she made history as the first woman in history to win The Ultimate Fighter competition reality television series.
