Combate Américas: Horacio Gutierrez vs Chase Gibson weigh-in results

Fighters took to the scale last night to make weight for their bouts at Combate Américas taking place in Guadalajara, Jalisco on Friday, September 27.

The event “Combat Americas: Guadalajara” will take place st the South Forum and will be broadcast live for the United States in Univision (12 am ET / PT) and TUDN (12 am ET / 9 pm PT ). The preliminary billboard can be viewed through Facebook Watch (9 pm ET / 8 pm CT / 6 pm PT) for everyone.

In the main event, Horacio “The Punisher” Gutierrez will meet Chase “El Güero” Gibson and both fighters were below the established limit in the featherweight division. Gibson came in at 145.6 pounds while Gutierrez at 145.7 pounds.

In the co-main event, the Argentine Marcelo “Pitbull” Rojo stepped on the scale at 139.2 pounds and was above the weight limit. He will forfeit 30% of his purse to his opponent Víctor “Periquito” Madrigal as he came in at 135.9 pounds.

Also not making weight was Axel “El Charro” Osuna coming in at 127.7 pounds and will forfeit 40% of his purse to his opponent Heinrich Wassmer as he came in at 125.6 pounds.
