Combate Americas Stockton Results, Photographs and Video Highlights
FightBook MMA has your official results and photographs for Combate Americas: North America vs. South America. The event took place in Stockton, Calif. on Friday, December 13 and aired live on AXS TV.
In the main event, we saw a featherweight (145 pounds) showdown as Mexico’s own Horacio “The Punisher” Gutierrez took on Peru’s native Marlon “Deriko Siete” Gonzales. In the co-main event, two more featherweights faced off as Javier “Blair” Reyes of Bogota, Colombia took on Gilbert “El Niño” Melendez protégé Joe “Nine Lives” Neal of Hayward, Calif.
In a featured women’s bantamweight (135 pounds) bout, Tina Pettigrew of San Diego, Calif. took on Maritza Sanchez (5-6) of El Dorado, Calif. Both females made their Pro debut under the Combate Americas banner. Rounding out the Main Card matchup was Hugo Lujan of Soledad, Calif. as he took on Manteca, Calif.’s Samuel Alvarez.
Also on the card we saw Alejandro “Hulk” Sanchez of Tijuana, B.C., Mexico went against Cameron Church of Lake Tahoe, Nev. at lightweight (155 pounds). In a 140-pound catchweight preliminary bout contest, Dan Arguetta of Orland Park, Ill. faced Roger Severson of Vallejo, Calif.
Saad Ul-Hassan of Palmdale, Calif. faced Joseph “Exodus” Vidales of Woodland, Calif. in this middleweight fight (185 lbs). Art “Warhorse” Hernandez of Fresno, Calif. went against Louis “The Monster” Cosce of Arcata, Calif. in a super lightweight showdown (165 pounds).
