Combate Mexicali: Rafa Garcia remains undefeated
Combate Americas made its 2020 debut with eight electrifying fights of Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) from the Auditorio del Estado Mexicali, B.C. The event took place on Friday, February 21, 2020.
Champion Rafa “Gifted” García (12-0) maintained his undefeated record against the Peruvian Humberto Bandenay (18-8), to retain his world lightweight championship.
In the co-main event, Edgar Chairez (6-2) defeated David Macias (4-2) by submission (Rear Naked Choke). The young 21-year-old Ana Palacios (4-1-1) saw victory, by submitting Laura Huizar (2-1) in the second round.
