Daisy Fresh Team Part Of Grapplefest Event At Scuffle Fight Week

PORT LOUIS, Mauritius – Scuffle is pleased to announce that the esteemed American BJJ gym, Daisy Fresh, will be part of the GrappleFest event during the highly anticipated Scuffle Fight Week this month in Port Louis, Mauritius. Scuffle welcomes the Daisy Fresh team in what promises to be an exciting showdown at the Scuffle Fight Week event on the 25th of September 2022.

Scuffle Fight Week celebrates all combat sports and will see fighters from far and wide arrive to compete in the landmark battle experience. Scuffle is looking forward to seeing the Daisy Fresh team take on the GrappleFest Africa challenge.

Daisy Fresh, officially known as Pedigo Fight Submission, is a humble gym that started in 1997 in Midwest America. Daisy Fresh owner, Heath Pedigo, is responsible for creating multiple champions in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu through his unorthodox method of building fighters, as was captured in a documentary, Daisy Fresh: An American Jiu Jitsu Story.

Heath takes in only the hungriest martial artists with excessive drive and tenacious spirit. From blistering winters to heatwave summers, the fighters remain immersed in combat sport and excel within a close brotherhood as they eat, sleep and live in the Illinois gym.

The Daisy Fresh documentary has accumulated hundreds and thousands of views on Youtube as the gym exposes the rawness and grit that the team brings in their pursuit to become Jiu-Jitsu champions. Fans will be excited to know that a seminar will be held with the Daisy Fresh team prior to the event in Mauritius.

The team is now getting ready to show out at the GrappleFest event, hosted by Scuffle Fight Week. They will also be hosting a landmark seminar in Mauritius, details to be published soon. Grapple Fest is Europe’s premier submission grappling invitational that was established in 2017.
