Diego Sanchez responds to Demian Maia challenge

Brazilian MMA, Demian Maia, has unsurprisingly called out to American Mixed Martial arts fighter Diego Sanchez to a fight, in which the latter accepts. For this article we teamed up with David do Melo, MMA enthusiast and writer for FootballPredictions.com, to get some more inside information.

The 41-year-old Brazilian just claimed a submission victory against Ben Askren not too long ago. The Welterweight fight happened on Saturday October 26, having being top of the news before it started, took place UFC Singapore in the Singapore Indoor Stadium in Kallang.

However, shortly after the call out one might be expecting Diego Sanchez to reply a little later than he did, as he accepted the challenge almost as quickly it was laid out.

The reply was almost as fast a football club accepting a bet of the day friendly match against another club in a pre-season or possibly during the season, it might be two different sports but the reply was the very same and fast.

When asked by Dan Hardy, who he will like to fight against next in a post-fight speech right after claiming his victory against Askren, the Brazilian fighter said he will very much like to be in the same ring as Sanchez, who he claims have been calling him out for some years, and see if fans will love to see the fight.

He said: “I wanna have two more fights. Of course, it’s my contract. Then after that, I have a lot of things that I want to do and retire. Diego Sanchez is somebody that has been calling me out for years and it’s like a veteran fight. Maybe you know, let’s see. If people like it, I can do.”

And Sanchez reply was unexpectedly fast he responds through his Instagram page, he wrote: “Let’s go [Dana White]. I didn’t get the go on the [Anthony Pettis] fight. I have paid my dues, only you know the truth of my last outing. Let’s put it together Jan 18th in Vegas!!! two legends want to dance let us dance!”

And in other news, UFC heavyweight fighter Walt Harris have formally addressed and ask the public to help in searching for his stepdaughter, having gone missing on on Thursday in Alabama.

The UFC fighter took to his Instagram page to beg his followers to share the post as he uploaded several photos of his daughter, Aniah Blanchard.

Investigation have already started but Blanchard is yet to be found as her car, Honda CR-V, found damaged at an apartment complex. We hope she is found soon.
