Brave Combat Federation has officially landed in Jordan, as fighters and officials have made their way to Amman for the promotion’s historical return to the country. Brave 23: Pride and Honor takes place at Al Hussein Youth City, Martyr Rashid Al-Ziyoud Hall (Boxing Arena), on April 19th, with three world titles on the line, plus the return of Jordanian hero and pioneer Hashem Arkhagha, and the debut of American star Jose Torres.
Before Friday night, when the 24 warriors will meet for an incredible 12 bouts, Brave 23 fight week will feature a number of events for the local fans to enjoy. They will have the chance to watch as the Brave stars make their last-minute adjustments in an Open Workout session, that will be rounded up by the first staredowns on Wednesday 17th April 2019. The session starts at 6 pm, local time, at the Abdali Mall, an entertainment and retail hub located at the heart of Amman’s New Downtown.
A day later, the promotion will host the official press conference combined with the ceremonial weigh-ins. In the evening, athletes will confirm their weights and fans will have the chance to witness the last staredowns before fight night. Ceremonial weigh-ins will start at 6 pm and they often produce some of the tensest moments leading up to the event itself. Before that, at 5.30 pm, Brave will host a press conference, with the presence of its biggest fighters. Both events will take place on Thursday, April 19th, once again at the Abdali Mall.
Brave CF 23 is headlined by “The Jordanian Lion” Jarrah Al-Selawe defending his Welterweight world title against undefeated Abdoul Abdouraguimov. Also representing Jordan, Lightweight world champion Abdul-Kareem Al-Selwady will look to keep his belt when he takes on Brazil’s Luan Santiago, and Eldar Eldarov and Mounir Lazzez meet for the inaugural world Super Lightweight title. Also set for fight night is the return of Hashem Arkhagha who makes his promotional debut against Jeremy Smith, and superstar José Torres facing off against Amir Albazi.
