When you think of “The Caveman” he goes hand and hand with Bellator since he had been with the company since 2011 amassing a 21-6-2 mark. Rickels was last seen inside the Bellator cage August of last year (the final fight on his contract).
Fast forward to the here and now. Caveman has signed on the dotted line with Bare Knuckle Fighting Championships and will toe the line with Justin Baesman March 14th at the Intrust Bank Arena in his hometown of Wichita.
This marks the first time that BKFC has landed in Kansas and what better way to introduce them to probably the hottest combat sport than have the “King of Kansas” and an Olympic medalist on the card not to mention several notables from the Midwest.
Before toeing the line, Caveman was kind enough to chat with Fighter Focus to discuss BKFC, bringing another combat sport to Wichita, training different, and much more. If you can’t be there live you can watch on Pay Per View at bareknuckle.tv. Hear the full interview below.
