PHILADELPHIA, PA — Dodge Sports client Jasmine Jasudavicius (5-1) returned to the win column with a unanimous decision victory over LFA veteran Ashley Deen (5-6) at CFFC 93 on UFC Fight Pass.
Jasudavicius, 32, was the aggressor throughout the fight, repeatedly taking Deen down to the canvas and controlling position. The St. Catherine’s, Ontario native’s grappling prowess was on full display, as Jasudavicius’ training camp focus on her wrestling saw her successfully land trips and slams throughout the fight.
Entering the fight, Jasudavicius reflected on her title fight appearance and told various outlets that she planned to be more patient against Deen, a strategy which Jasudavicius executed without issue at CFFC 93.
“In life and in MMA, I learned to actually chill a little bit more,” she told Cageside Press before her bout with Deen. “Enjoy the process more, enjoy being in there. Don’t be trying to push, push, push. Wait for my opportunity, kind of stalk my prey instead of just going at it full force,”
Dodge Sports CEO Matt Dodge stated, “Jasmine has shown tremendous growth over her past few fights and continues to prove why she is one of the top female prospects in the game today. We feel comfortable putting her up against anyone at this point and feel she is ready for the next step in her career.”
