Georges St-Pierre vs Nate Diaz targeted for UFC 227
UFC 227 will take place on Aug. 4th and it will be held at Los Angeles’ Staples Center.
UFC President Dana White has stated today (Tuesday May, 8, 2018) that the promotion is working to have Georges St-Pierre vs Nate Diaz
White stated on the UFC Unfiltered Podcast:
“We are working right now to try to put together a Georges St-Pierre vs. Nate Diaz fight. It is true, and they would fight at 155 lbs.”
White also stated on the show:
“It might be Aug. 4 in L.A. In my perfect world … T.J. Dillashaw vs. Cody Garbrandt, GSP vs. Diaz would be the co-main, Alexander Gustafsson vs. Luke Rockhold, and Derek Brunson vs. Antonio Carlos Junior.”
