A lightweight matchup between division veteran, Georgi Karakhanyan, and Manchester native, Kane Mousah is on deck for Bellator Dublin on September 23. – with the event slated to take place at The 3Arena in Dublin, Ireland.

Attempting to snap a two-fight losing skid when he draws Mousah in September, Moscow-born veteran, Karakhanyan most recently featured in February of this year at Bellator 274, dropping a unanimous decision loss to Adam Piccolotti.

For Mousah, the 35-year-old has been out of action since a unanimous judging loss of his own against Davy Gallon back in October of last year, with an injury forcing Bellator Dublin opponent, Peter Queally from a February matchup in the capital. Bellator MMA confirmed the pairing on their Twitter account.

“Announcement: A lightweight contest pitting @GeorgiMMA Karakhanyan vs. @Kane86Mousah has been added to #BellatorDublin on September 23.”

Before his February loss to Piccolotti, Karakhanyan saw his two-fight winning run halted by another judging defeat against Saul Rogers at Bellator 266 last September.

Boasting 16 career submission victories, storied veteran, Karakhanyan most recently scored a victory against Bellator MMA alum, Kiefer Crosbie, stopping the Dubliner with a first round arm-triangle at Bellator 263 in July of last year.

31-13-1(1) as a professional, Karakhanyan has competed under the banners of KOTC, BAMMA, DREAM, WSOF, and ACB during his lengthy tenure in the sport.

Among notable names on his winning record, Karakhanyan has defeated the likes of Anthony Leone, Din Thomas, Lance Palmer, Bubba Jenkins, Daniel Pineda, Paul Redmond, Bryce Logan, and the above mentioned, Crosbie.

13-4 as a professional, Mousah, also an alum of ACB, landed under the Bellator banner back in May 2019, defeating Mateusz Piskorz with a unanimous decision win in Birmingham.

Establishing a 1-2 promotional record since, Mousah would land a split decision win over Alessandro Botti in between his loss to the aforenoted, Gallon, and a split judging loss to Rafael Macedo.

Mousah has scored two submission wins to go with four other career knockouts, adding Piskorz to other noteworthy wins against Myles Price, Lewis Monarch, and Alex Enlund.
