When and why did you start training for fighting? I just always enjoyed the thrill and adrenaline rush of fighting in the cage. I started training about seven years ago.

What would it mean for you to fight in the UFC? It would mean the world to me and my family. I have been chasing this dream since I started fighting, and on August 18th I will make that dream a reality.

Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? No, I did not go to college.

What was your job before you started fighting? Construction and working in the shipyards.

Specific accomplishments in amateur competition? 7-2 as an amateur, only seeing the 2nd round twice.

Favorite Striking technique: Straight punches.
