Husein Kadimagomaev And Agshin Babaev Played As Matchmakers On Social Media To Book Bout At BRAVE CF 52

BRAVE CF 52: Bad Blood will be living up to its billing when it takes place in the beautiful Italian city of Milan on August 1 as a grudge match between two up-and-coming talents will be one of its supporting bouts.

Part of the highly-anticipated nine-bout card, Chechnya-born Swiss standout Husein Kadimagomaev is penciled to take on Agshin “Warrior” Babaev of Azerbaijan in a three-round featherweight contest.

Both men are coming off disappointing setbacks at BRAVE CF 47: Asian Domination this past March. Kadimagomaev bowed to unbeaten South Korean phenom Tae Kyun Kim via third-round stoppage, while Babaev faltered at the hands of “The Afghan Lion” Abdul Azim Badakhshi by way of unanimous decision.

Determined to redeem themselves inside the BRAVE CF cage, the two featherweights took it upon themselves to secure a spot at the promotion’s next event. Kadimagomaev fired the first shot at Babaev on social media and their followers immediately took notice.

But when Babaev responded to the callout, things started to get heated as they went back-and-forth. Fortunately for them, the outfit’s matchmakers caught sight of their banter that glued mixed martial arts fans to the screens of their mobile devices.

As a nod to the buzz that Kadimagomaev and Babaev stirred on social media, they have the chance to settle their row at the much-awaited BRAVE CF 52: Bad Blood, the organization’s first venture on Italian soil. And rightfully so, the two landed on the marquee of the historic show.

A decisive victory by either man will reinsert their name into the mix of possible contenders in the stacked 145-pound weight class.
