Invicta FC 31 official results, photographs and post-fight wrap-up video

On Saturday, Sept. 1, Invicta Fighting Championships hosted Invicta FC 31 from the historic Scottish Rite Temple in Kansas City. The eight-fight card streamed live and exclusively on UFC FIGHT PASS.

In the main event, Invicta FC strawweight champ Virna Jandiroba took on Janaisa Morandin. Virna’s grappling helped her dominate Morandin, she put on a clinic the first round and during the second she was able to sink in an arm-triangle at the 2:23 mark.

In the co-main event, Pearl Gonzalez took on Daiane Firmino. During the first two rounds Pearl was ablento capitalize against Firmino. In the round Firmino outgrappled Gonzalez but wasn’t enough and Gonzalez went home with the win via unanimous decision.
