Tulsa, Oklahoma: The 19-year-old Bella Mir (2-0) is the daughter of former UFC heavyweight champion Frank Mir and has two professional MMA wins under her belt all before age 18.
Growing up, Bella was on the mats as a young girl watching her father Frank Mir rise to the top. She saw her dad’s work ethic and becoming the UFC heavyweight champion. It’s no surprise that Bella wanted to do what her dad did and compete in wrestling, jiu-jitsu, and of course MMA.
Mir became a four-time Nevada state champ and a 2021 Junior folkstyle national champ. Mir also took fourth at the 2021 Junior women’s freestyle world team trials at 143 pounds. She won both her MMA fights under the iKon Fighting Federation banner. She won her pro debut against Danielle Wynn by unanimous decision and Alma Cespedes by rear-naked choke in the first round at the 1:53 mark.
Dale “Apollo” Cook is the owner of Xtreme Fight Night (XFN) which is America’s longest-running Mixed Martial Arts promotion. The promotion is based out of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and features both world championship kickboxing and world-class MMA on the same night. Former UFC heavyweight champion Frank Mir calls the action cage side and the in-cage post-fight interviews. It’s no surprise to often see Bella at these XFN events.
Dale did post something very interesting on his Facebook page with the caption: “Coming soon…..Bella Mir. #XFN”
Could this be the next home for Bella Mir fighting inside the XFN cage? If yes, who will be her opponent? Stay tuned to FightBookMMA.com as we will have more information as this story develops.
