James Faulkner talks to FightBook MMA about Never Back Down: Revolt

OKLAHOMA, TULSA: FightBook MMA had the opportunity to sit down and talk to James Faulkner who stars in the new Sony Pictures Home Entertainment movie called Never Back Down: Revolt.

Check out the interview above with our correspondent Arlow Jumper who hosts FightBook MMA Extra. He talks about how he used to Box, attending the Royal School of Church Music at Addington Palace where he was a permanent member of the choir and often called upon as a soloist. He also mentions him taking part in every house play, school play, choral society concert, and ran the Puppet Club, and more.

Faulkner is an English actor and an award-winning actor who has appeared in 150 productions and whose career spans five decades. International recognition has followed his appearances as Randyll Tarly in GAME OF THRONES; Lord Sinderby in DOWNTON ABBEY; The dual roles of The Pope and The Prisoner in DA VINCIS DEMONS; ‘C’ in ATOMIC BLONDE; Paul in PAUL, APOSTLE OF CHRIST; Uncle Geoffrey in BRIDGET JONES’ DIARY; THE BANK JOB; HITMAN; X MEN; UNDERWORLD: BLOOD WARS and TRIBES OF EUROPA. He has lent his voice to numerous video games including Swain in LEAGUE OF LEGENDS and is the voice of King Arthur in Netflix’s new hit animation ARCADIA: WIZARDS. 

Never Back Down: Revolt is directed by Kellie Madison and written by Audrey Arkins. The movie is about an amateur fighter named Anya (Olivia Popica) who is lured by a trafficking syndicate specializing in elite underground fighting where her brutal captor (Michael Bisping) forces her to fight or face certain death. In one scene in the movie, Anya (Olivia Popica) plays a nursing student whose brother Aslan (Tommy Bastow) is an aspiring MMA fighter. One night he wins a fight he was supposed to fight and brings down the wrath of Julian (James Faulkner) who plays a very bad man and one not to cross.
