With the conclusion of the first round of BRAVE CF’s prestigious Flyweight World Title Tournament the semifinal between Jose “Shorty” Torres and Ali Bagautinov was decided but it’s yet to be scheduled. Worried about the timeframe of the bout, Torres issued a hilarious callout to his Russian counterpart on social media, demanding the contest to take place as soon as possible.
Riding a tricycle, or at least trying as much as possible to do it, in a parking lot, Torres addressed his concerns. “Ali Bagautinov, you need to stop ducking me. I don’t know why you are afraid of a man on a tricycle. I’m gonna ride this thing all the way to Russia, I don’t know where you are — I think I have a flat tire –, either way, I’m gonna get this done! Stop ducking me!”, he said.
Torres now awaits Bagautinov’s reply or at least his opinion on the scene that evokes Stanley Kubrick’s The Shining, or somewhat a spoof. But the fact is that, sooner or later, Torres and Bagautinov are expected to meet inside the BRAVE CF Arena competing for a spot in the tournament final against Velimurad Alkhasov, who has already secured a spot in the title bout.
