Khaled bin Hamad: We Look forward to New Success in BRAVE

BRAVE CF 57, which will be held as part of the 2022 BRAVE International Combat Week, will kick off today, “Friday”, at the Khalifa Sports City hall, under the patronage of HH Shaikh Khaled bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of the General Sports Authority and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee.

Organised by the Bahrain Mixed Martial Arts Association (BMMAF) in cooperation with the International Mixed Martial Arts Federation (IMMAF) and KHK SPORTS from 8-12 March, the event also witnesses the organisation of the 1st MMA Super Cup.

On this occasion, HH Shaikh Khaled bin Hamad Al Khalifa has expressed his pride in the multiple successes achieved by the BRAVE CF championship which strengthened Bahraini efforts to contribute to the development of MMA Internationally.

His Highness said: “BRAVE Combat Federation has been able to impose itself strongly on the global scene, through the vision we have drawn since our launch of the promotion. The competition has positively impacted Bahrain’s economy and tourism as well as international relations. Our vision for BRAVE CF goes beyond mere competition as we look forward to seeing this edition achieve the tremendous success that is added to the series of accomplishments made by the previous editions.

Bahrain to the Final of Super Cup
Team Bahrain qualified for the final match of the first edition of the Super Cup following a narrow 3-2 victory over Kazakhstan. The players of the national team delivered a heroic performance in their confrontation with their opponents during intense games.

Commenting on this, HH Shaikh Khaled praised the victories achieved by the national team, through which it succeeded in qualifying for the final match, stressing that the great levels presented by the athletes of the team contributed to achieving this goal, which is to reach the farthest point in this championship. The team will face Ireland who qualified for the final game after defeating Mexico 5-4.

The BRAVE International Combat Week represents an important turning point in the recovery of the Bahraini economy, as the championship plays a pivotal and important role in various sectors, including aviation, hotels, tourism, and getting to know the tourist places in the Kingdom.
