KSW 54 Results: Gamrot Defends Title & Boxing Champ Wins MMA Debut

KSW 54 took place tonight August 29 from Warsaw, Poland. In the main event KSW double champ Mateusz Gamrot (17-0) remained undefeated and defended his KSW lightweight title with a hard fought five-round win over Marian Ziolkowski (21-8-1). 

In the co-main event former international boxing champ Izu Ugonoh (1-0) made a successful start to his MMA career with a first round TKO win over French bruiser Quentin Domingos. Ugonoh, who is also a former K1 world champ, looked comfortable in the cage and landed a number of strikes including a heavy legkick. The fight came to an abrupt end though after Domingos injured his leg in a exchange.

Elsewhere on the card veteran Michal Kita (20-11-1) got vengeance against Michal Andrszyak (21-9) in their rematch, Miciej Kazieczko (7-1) scored another finish moving him up the rankings, and the Rajewski brothers both won their respective fights.
