LFA 58 – Harvey Park vs. Jaleel Willis Main Event

LFA 58 – Harvey Park vs. Jaleel Willis takes place this Friday, January 25th at the Route 66 Casino Hotel in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The event will be televised nationwide on AXS TV Fights Fights at 10 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. PT.

In the main event, Curry County Sheriff’s Deputy Harvey Park (10-2) will take on top prospect Jaleel “The Realest” Willis (9-1)in a lightweight war.

Park fighting out of from Clovis, New Mexico made his highly-anticipated LFA debut this past May on the LFA 39 card that took place in Vail, Colorado. Park fought Austin Hubbard for three rounds but at the end Hubbard won the decision. Park won his next fight in what we can say was one of the most memorable fights of 2018. Park suffered a compound fracture to his right ring finger in the first round against Le’Ville Simpson at LFA 53. Park earned a unanimous decision victory as well as national praise from fight fans and fighters for his incredible display of heart.

FightBook MMA reached out to Harvey and he gave his thoughts on his upcoming fight.

“I’m excited for this fight, Jaleel’s style is to break his opponent. He could put his weight on me, hold me down and beat me up and that excites me. I’m in this sport to test my self and Jaleel is going to do just that!”

Willis fighting out of Memphis, Tennessee and known as “The Realest” won nine of his ten fights competing as a welterweight. His only loss came via decision in his promotional debut against Kyle Stewart in the main event of LFA 33 this past February. That didn’t stop Willis as he came back and won against Chel-Erwin Davis in the co-main event of LFA 42. He only needed 70-seconds to finish the fight via TKO due to strikes. He will be making his lightweight debut at LFA 58.
