The promotion returned to Minnesota on Friday, September 27 as the promotion hosted LFA 77: James vs. Martin. The event took place at the Mystic Lake Casino Hotel in Prior Lake, Minnesota.

The main event featured a heavyweight title fight when knockout artist Daniel “The American Predator” James faced top prospect Brett “Big Dog” James for the vacant championship. In the co-main event,  Chad Johnson went against Calyn Hull.
