Luan “Miau” warns “Predator” ahead of BRAVE 25: ‘I will smash your head’

BRAVE CF Lightweight world champion Luan “Miau” Santiago has started the mind games for his next bout. He is scheduled to take on top contender Cleiton “Predator” Silva in the main event of BRAVE 25, set for Belo Horizonte, Brazil, on August 30th, and has claimed the bout will be a “walk in the park”, completely dismissing his rival’s chances of snatching his belt and sending a graphic image of what fans can expect on fight night.

Santiago became the champion in April of this year with a stunning spinning-back elbow KO of former titleholder Abdul-Kareem Al-Selwady. He is confident that the same fate expects his first contender, even going as far as saying Cleiton isn’t on his level, and that it will be a violent and bloody fight.

“He’s messed up. He doesn’t deserve to be here. He’s only here because of his win streak, but he hasn’t fought a high-level opponent. Not once. I’m going to smash his head in, that’s it. It won’t be pretty, I’ll tell you that much. If you don’t like blood, don’t watch this fight, because it’s going to be violent”, said Luan, who defied claims he’s overlooking Cleiton.

“I’m not underestimating him, I’m talking about reality. He doesn’t have what it takes to fight me. It’s warfare. I just laugh off his attempts at trash talk. He wants what I have and I will not give it to him. He’s going to feel what it’s like to fight a world champion, a world-class fighter, which is something that he’s never done”.

Luan “Miau” Santiago and Cleiton “Predator” have gone back and forth on social media, and in interviews, with the initially mild trash talk slowly developing into a serious rivalry. All will be set on the main event of BRAVE 25, a groundbreaking event that cements BRAVE CF as one of Brazil’s most loved MMA promotions.
