Lucas “Mineiro” eager to help MMA reach a new level at BRAVE 24: London

Lucas “Mineiro” Martins will be one half of the main event of BRAVE Combat Federation’s biggest-ever show. He will look to become the promotion’ Featherweight world champion when he takes on current titleholder Bubba Jenkins at BRAVE 24: London, set for July 25th, at the Copper Box Arena, inside the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.

The show was designed as an invite-only event, for a VIP crowd, full of world-class businessmen, influencers, politicians and celebrities, most of which will be in contact with MMA for the first time. “Mineiro” is aware that this is a pivotal moment for the sport, and knows BRAVE 24 is an opportunity to showcase the fastest-growing sport in the world to an audience which can help mixed martial arts reach a new level.

“I think this initiative from BRAVE CF of putting on an invite-only event is really cool. This can only empower the events, the sport, and athletes. I’m really pleased to be a part of this. And I’m sure that this event will end up opening a lot of doors for various athletes, and making the sport bigger. I want to help make this happen by putting on a show there. For people to leave the building in love with MMA, our fight needs to be exciting”, says Lucas, who has already won and lost the Lightweight world title, and is used to be involved in big fights, none bigger than his challenge of Jenkins.

“I’m used to fighting in main events, I’ve done that for BRAVE CF at home in Brazil, and away from home too. I’m coming off a lot of five-round fights, so I’ve been training a lot for that. I think this is the biggest-ever BRAVE CF event, and I’m honored and grateful to have been chosen to lead this show with Bubba Jenkins. I want to put on an amazing performance for our special audience”.

BRAVE 24: London will be the highlight of the year for MMA, as the fastest-growing promotion in the world brings together VIPs from around the world under one roof to celebrate the sport of mixed martial arts in a luxurious event set to empower MMA and the sport as a whole.
