Lyoto Machida is headed to Bellator MMA
Another UFC fighter leaves the promotion. According to ESPN, Lyoto Machida has verbally agreed to an exclusive multi-fight contract with BellatorMMA.
Machida leaves the UFC on a two-fight winning streak with a record of 24-8.Â
Machida’s Bellator debut isn’t set in stone just yet but he is expected to fight again in 2018. He joins other ex UFC fighters in the likes of Rory MacDonald, Benson Henderson, Gegard Mousasi, Frank Mir and Matt Mitrione. As we know there are other fighters who left the UFC to fight under the Bellator banner.
