Over the weekend a duo of exciting match-ups were announced for the KSW 56 fight card on November 14 live around the world from Lodz, Poland, on www.KSWTV.com and the KSW App.
First up, Germany’s ‘Mad’ Max Coga (22-6-1) was officially revealed as one of the latest signings to the KSW roster. The 31-year-old, who is multiple champion in his native Germany, has long been regarded as one of the best featherweights in Europe and has recently competed in PFL. Coga holds career wins over current KSW stars Marian Ziolkowski & bantamweight champ Antun Racic and during his near ten-year career has wins over a host of highly-rated fighters on the European scene and has an extremely impressive 86% finishing ratio.
Welcoming Coga into KSW is the always exciting Daniel Torres (10-4). The Brazilian, who is based in Austria, has become a fan favourite in KSW thanks to his exciting displays in his three outings in the promotion thus far, winning ‘Fight of the Night’ honours twice. Currently sitting at 2-1 in KSW, the 26-year-old will see a win over Coga as an opportunity to score the biggest victory in his career and the chance to boost him towards title contention.
In the other announced fight for KSW 56 we will finally see the promotional debut of the undefeated Mateusz Legierski (6-0) as he takes on a fellow debutant in Argentina’s Francisco Barrio (7-1).
Legierski was originally slated to make his debut in July but an injury delayed this. Now the Oktagon champion, who has a lot of expectations and hype surrounding him, will officially step foot inside the KSW arena on November 14 and will look to make an immediate impact. However, also looking to make a statement is his opponent Francisco Barrio.
The Argentinian has a strong pedigree in martial arts. Prior to his MMA career we was a silver medalist in Greco Roman wrestling at the 2007 & 2008 Pan Am Championships and was regarded as one of the best wrestlers in South America. Barrio then made his MMA debut in 2012 and has since built a very solid record while also returning to wrestling in 2017, where he won bronze at the Pan Am Championships. The 31-year-old has honed his craft at the likes of SBG Ireland and ATT Zagreb, where he is currently based.
KSW 56 will be available to watch live November 14 around the world on www.KSWTV.com and the KSW APP on iOS & Android.
