Mark Rehak and Krisztofer Nagy win WKN and Rising Stars titles at Fight Night Hungary

The WKN and Rising Stars titles were up for grabs at Fight Night Hungary 2021 held at Barba Negra in Budapest this past Saturday, June 26. The event promoted by Gyorgy Rehak saw a night of spectacular kickboxing and Muay Thai action with some of the leading Hungarian fighters participating.

Mark Rehak and Mark Lakatos squared off in the scheduled for five rounds championship bout with WKN Hungarian lightweight kickboxing title on the line. The contest didn’t go the distance, and ended in favor of Rehak, who claimed the win, as well as a prestigious belt via stoppage in the first round.

Juniors Nagy Krisztofer and Eder Bence put on a technical Muay Thai display. After four rounds Krisztofer earned the win by unanimous decision and claimed WKN “Rising Stars” bantamweight title.

Over the years, Hungary presented many World Kickboxing Network championship events with WKN World, European and national titles at stake. In March 2015 Budapest became a “European Capital of Kickboxing” with the third edition of “Simply the Best”.
