Chandler, who managed to snap a two-fight losing skid with his incredible second round front kick knockout win over Ferguson at the Footprint Center in the ‘Copper State’ – issuing a slew of callouts afterwards.

The Sanford MMA staple welcomed the opportunity to face both Justin Gaethje or former lightweight champion, Charles Oliveira in the future as well – suffering defeats to both during his Octagon tenure.

Over the course of the weekend, Diaz engaged in a tweeting spree – claiming that he would easily submit former lightweight champion and UFC 274 main event victor, Oliveira if he ever faced the Brazilian, as well as hinting to a UFC 277 return – in a welterweight excursion.

Drawing the attention of the likes of past foe, Conor McGregor, the undefeated, Khamzat Chimaev, and former interim gold holder, Dustin Poirier – a surprising addition to the Diaz sweepstakes came in the form of Chandler.

“I’m there,” Michael Chandler tweeted at Nate Diaz, “July 30. 170lbs,” “Quick turn around. Spin your head on it’s axis. @natediaz209.”

“Hey, @natediaz209… shut up and stop complaining,” Michael Chandler tweeted. “Keep your mouth shut. Keep your head down until your daddy books a fight for you to get your sacrificial dome bounced off the canvas again. Maybe it’ll be me… if you’re lucky. See you at the top.”
