MMA Fighter dressed as Batman chokes out opponent at OKTAGON 57

Rising star Max Holzer clinched another impressive victory under the OKTAGON banner, after dressing up and running out to the Batman theme tune.
The 22-year-old from Germany delighted a partisan 15,000-strong crowd at the Frankfurt Festhalle with yet another outrageous outfit. As the Batman theme song rang out at the famous stadium, Holzer proceeded to charge to the ring dressed as the ‘Caped Crusader.’
However, it was performance inside the cage that really grabbed the attention of the audience as he choked out Eemil Kurhela in the second round.
Holzer started the fight aggressively, landing big left hands from his southpaw stance, before exploding into several takedown attempts. After wearing the valiant Kurhela down, he was able to sink in a rear-naked choke midway through the second round.
Nicknamed ‘Stifler’, the featherweight contender then proceeded to hand his downed opponent a German chocolate bar in the aftermath of the fight.
Holzer gained mass attention in his last OKTAGON outing, where he dressed up as Buzz Lightyear at OKTAGON 52 in Newcastle, before submitting Corey Fry.
The win moves the Fightschool Hannover graduate to 8-0 in his MMA career after his second win in just five months in 2024.
