London: Four days of MMA tournament action from the IMMAF Senior & Junior World Cup – Prague will be streamed live on IMMAF.TV for international audiences, from 8 to 11 September for just $/ £/ € 3.99. Broadcast is to commence daily at 10:30am CEST with an estimated run time of up to 6 hours.
Subscription packages to the channel are also available offering access to IMMAF’s forthcoming live events as well as its Championships archive, which includes the recent European Open Championships in Russia.
Hosted by the Czech Association of MMA (CSMMA), the event marks the first in IMMAF’s MMA World Cup Series, designed to increase competition opportunities for MMA’s elite amateur athletes and hosting rights opportunities.
In 2021, the MMA World Cup notably provides a European platform for nations that were unable to travel to Russia for the European Championships during the pandemic, including large teams from Sweden, Norway, Ireland and Ukraine.
The full list of nations to participate in the senior tournament is Bahrain, Czech Republic, Estonia, Spain, Italy, Germany, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Jorden, Lithuania, Ukraine, Norway, Greece, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Slovakia, Sweden and Tajikistan. Larger teams participating only in the junior tournament include Russia, Kazakhstan, Bulgaria and Finland.
The MMA World Cup – Prague is the International Mixed Martial Arts Federation’s final Championships in 2021 in which ranking points can be earned for its end-of- year World Championship.
