Mo Deen & Alex Stein Join The Culture War With Tim Pool Following Chaotic Boxing Incident

WEST VIRGINIA — A boxing press conference in July descended into chaos after YouTuber Alex Stein threw hotdogs at his opponent, TikTok star Mo Deen. A celebrity boxing organization paired up Stein and Deen as American and British trolls to battle it out inside the ring at Misfits Boxing 008 but Stein’s stunt led to the bout being called off.

Stein told the The Sun that the whole incident was a joke and that the hotdogs were actually made from turkey meat instead of pork. He added that he’s mates with Deen and even contacted his management prior to the stunt, he also stated that he is not Islamophobic and is hoping the event could still go ahead.

Both men have since posted about their disappointment with the fight being cancelled.

Deen: “What’s happened today, the altercation at the press conference has led DAZN and Misfits to cancel my boxing fight. Now, I am feeling heartbroken because my fight is being canceled because of someone else’s actions and I’m not getting the chance to smash this guy’s face in, yeah? So I just wanted to say that look, they found out it was not pork, whatever, it was some mixed chicken whatever yeah? So that’s calm, as long as it wasn’t that.”

Stein: “My opponent still wants to fight but unfortunately cancelling me is more important than the actual boxing. Mo deserves the chance to knock me out but they officially squashed that chance for him.”

Today, both men will join Tim Pool’s The Culture War LIVE at 10 am EST to address the incident for the first time — and for a broader discussion on cancel culture, social media and politics.
