Two of the KHK MMA most decorated athletes, Abbas Khan and Murtaza Talha Ali, will be representing the Kingdom of Bahrain in the upcoming BRAVE CF 48: Arabian Nights, the biggest Arab fight night ever in the sport of Mixed Martial Arts.
Both Abbas Khan and Murtaza Talha are products of the KHK MMA system, which brings talent up from the grassroot all the way to the highest levels of professional combat sports.
“KHK MMA is the number one team in the world,” says Talha. “And you will see on March 18.”
Murtaza Talha left the amateur circuit as one of the greatest ever. The two-time IMMAF World Champion completely dominated the competition through his amateur career and turned pro with a perfect record of 11-0.
Murtaza won his two professional bouts so far, against Vadim Litvin and Dmitriy Krivulets, both by finish, and now will take on Cameron Meintjies, from South Africa. The “Ginger Ninja” holds a pro record of 6 wins and one loss and is currently on a six-win streak.
Abbas Khan finished his amateur career with a record of 12 wins and 6 losses, with an IMMAF African Open Championship win under his belt. Coming from a boxing background, Abbas will be facing Omar El Dafrawy, an Egyptian MMA champion with a professional record of 5 wins and one loss. At Super Lightweight, Abbas will be hopeful he can reproduce the form that earned him several accolades throughout his amateur career.
BRAVE CF 48: Arabian Nights take place on March 18, at the Arad Fort, in Arad, Kingdom of Bahrain. The 12-bout card will be headlined by the Lightweight match between Ylies Djiroun and Abdul Rakhman Makhazhiev in what will be the biggest showcase of Arabian talent in MMA history.
