Nik Lentz (30 – 10 – 2, 1NC) has now stepped into space left on the card to face the young Arnold Allen (15-1).  Allen is now 6-0 in the UFC and making real moves in the featherweight division, with a win over Emmett it would surly have catapulted him into the top 10 in the world ranking.

Nik Lentz has been around the UFC for years now and has fought some of the best to stand inside the UFC cage. Nik was due to fight another English man in Nad Narimani who was also forced out with injury leaving both men free to fight.

Is this a good fight for Allen?

Yes & No in my opinion.  If you look at the experience that Allen will get fighting an old school gritty fighter like Nik will no doubt serve him well in the long run(If Allen gets the win), but I can’t help feel for Allen. The Fight with Emmett really has the MMA community talking. This was a very exciting match up that would have done great things for both Allen & Emmett in their careers.
