ODDS: Joshua and Wilder outstanding favorites for huge Riyadh Rumble

Next month Anthony Joshua will face Otto Wallin while Deontay Wilder takes on Joseph Parker as part of the huge co-main event, taking place in the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

With such a huge event rounding off the boxing year, online bookmakers Parimatch have looked at who is being backed as early favourites for the fights.

Wins for both Joshua and Wilder could set up the much-anticipated bout between the pair, with Wilder himself admitting that he would like to take the fight. Parimatch currently have odds of 9/2 for both fighters to win in Riyadh.

Anthony Joshua vs Otto Wallin:

Anthony Joshua (26-3-0) comes into this fight having most recently beaten Finnish boxer Robert Helenius with a round-seven knockout. Joshua will his upcoming fight with Wallin as a great opportunity to get back into belt contention after losing and failing to reclaim the WBA, IBF, WBO and IBO heavyweight titles to Oleksandr Usyk in August last year.

Joshua’s opponent is the current WBA inter-continental heavy champion, Otto Wallin (26-1-0). Fighting out of Sweden, Wallin has been on great form winning his last six bouts including beating Murat Gassiev last time out. His only professional boxing loss was at the hands of Tyson Fury back in 2019.

Deontay Wilder vs Joseph Parker:

Former WBC world heavy champion Deontay Wilder (43-2-0) will face Joseph Parker (33-3-0) for his first fight since October last year when he beat Robert Helenius with a first-round knockout. Wilder has himself admitted that he would like to fight Anthony Joshua in the future so a win here could be the catalyst for that bout.

Parker comes into the fight off the back of winning the IBF and WBO Intercontinental heavyweight belts after beating Simon Kean with a third-round knockout last month. Parker previously held the WBO heavyweight title after beating Andy Ruiz Jr. in his homeland of New Zealand back in 2016.

The odds suggest that Deontay Wilder is the overwhelming favourite for this fight:
