Official results, bonuses and Reebok Sponsorship Payout for UFC on ESPN 3

The event took place Saturday, June 29th at Target Center. The entire card aired live on ESPN. The event drew 10,123 fans for a gate of $952,204.77. UFC officials announced the figures after the event.

In the main event, it didn’t take long for Francis Ngannou to score his second straight first-round knockout when he stopped Junior Dos Santos. We saw Dos Santos throw a looping overhand hook that missed and Ngannou capitalized and connected with fight-ending blows at the 1:11 mark.

In the co-main event we saw Joseph Benavidez stop Jussier Formiga in the second round. This was back and forth fight as both fighters were looking to end this fight quick in the first round. During the second round, Joseph turned things around as he started to connect his punches hurting Formiga to the point where he dropped to his knees and the ref saw enough and  stopped the fight at the 4:47 mark.

UFC officials  announced the winners of the bonuses after the event. Four “Performance of the Night” were awarded on Saturday. Francis Ngannou, Joseph Benavidez, Alonzo Menifield and Eryk Anders all received an extra $50k.

Fighters took home their Reebok Sponsorship Payout totaling $162,500. Coming in first place was Joseph Benavidez and Demian Maia taking home $20,000. In second place was Junior Dos Santos taking home $15,000.

Fighters with 1-3 bouts receive $3,500 per appearance; 4-10 bouts get $5,000; 11-15 bouts earn $10,000; 16-20 bouts pocket $15,000; and 21 bouts and more get $20,000. Additionally, champions earn $40,000 while title challengers get $30,000. Also, UFC fighters will receive in perpetuity royalty payments amounting to 20-30 percent of any UFC merchandise sold that bears their likeness, according to officials.
