ONE Women’s Strawweight Muay Thai World Champion Smilla Sundell post fight interview
Singapore: ONE Championship™ (ONE) athletes who competed at ONE Fight Night 14: Stamp vs. Ham answered questions in post-fight interviews following their incredible performances.
Smilla Sundell, ONE Women’s Strawweight Muay Thai World Champion:
How she’ll be celebrating her win:
“With McDonald’s as usual and some ice cream on the side.”
How she was able to remain calm under pressure against Allycia:
“Oh, I was not calm I would say. I felt like I had too much energy before the fight so that’s why I rushed in the first round and I got hit by a lot of her shots which was stupid of me but after that, in round 2 I felt a bit better and then round three was good.”
Whether she’s interested in a special rules striking match in the future:
“Yeah, I would love to fight special rules like they [Xiong Jing Nan and Wondergirl] did. It looked fun. Yeah, why not. I’ll fight anyone in any sport. Maybe not MMA just yet but Kickboxing is also on my mind.”
What her order from McDonald’s will be:
“Chicken nuggets and French fries.”
