Recent Bellator vacant bantamweight title challenger, Patchy ‘No Love’ Mix heaped praise on uber-prospect, Aaron Pico following his massive knockout win over John de Jesus at Bellator 252 last night, claiming he’d deliver a similar stoppage to his streaking division rival, James ‘The Strabanimal’ Gallagher “soon”.

While Mix and Gallagher have yet to be booked to square-off under the Bellator banner, it seems the two are on somewhat of a collision course, especially with the latter’s stunning first-round rear-naked choke win over Cal Ellenor at Bellator Milan in October.

Jackson-Wink MMA trainee, Mix seen his three-fight rise toward the title snapped by wrestling ace, Juan ‘The Spaniard’ Archuleta at Bellator 246 in September, challenging for the bantamweight crown which had been vacated by the decorated, Kyoji Horiguchi.

Taking to his official Twitter last night in admiration of Pico’s stunning third-round overhand knockout, Mix explained how he envisions a similar outcome in a potential pairing with SBG Ireland staple, Gallagher.

What a knockout by (Aaron) Pico! I see me doing the same to @StrabanimalMMA (James Gallagher) very soon.

Following his submission over Ellenor, Gallagher cryptically alluded to a potential matchup with fellow finisher, Mix on his official Instagram account.

Time to mix things up a bit they don’t have a patch on me.

With his win over Sunderland native, Ellenor, Gallagher extended his winning run under the Scott Coker led promotion to four-fights, following wins over Steven Graham, Jeremiah Labiano, and Roman Salazar.

A proficient grappler himself, Mix holds a rear-naked choke win over common-foe, Ricky Bandejas, as well as a Suloev stretch win over the late Isiah Chapman, as well as his vacant title opportunity earning win over Yuki Motoya.
