Peter “The Showstopper” Queally meets Brent Primus at Bellator Dublin, Feb. 22 at 3 Arena.
Bellator Dublin just got a little bit bigger today as hometown hero Peter Queally is now set to meet former Bellator Lightweight Champ Brent Primus. First reported by Peter Carroll of MMAfighting.com & subsequently confirmed by Bellator.

Peter “The Showstopper” Queally a man that needs no introduction to European fans, having been a stalwart of the scene for many years now. Queally is now 12-5-1 overall & 1-1 in Bellator. Peters’s last win came in September of this year, after beating Ryan Scope via TKO in round 2, in what John Kavanagh called the comeback of the decade. The support that this man can muster is something to behold, His walkout at Bellator Dublin is something I was lucky to witness in person and something I will not forget.

Standing across from Peter will be Brent Primus who is 9-1 in his pro career has been to the top of the Lightweight division already, having beat Michael Chandler via TKO (doctors stoppage) in 2017. In the rematch, Chandler went on to reclaim his title beating Primus via unanimous decision. The last outing that Brent had was at Bellator Birmingham where he finished Tim Wilde in a fairly quick first-round submission back in May of 2019. Primus will be walking into a cauldron of noise from the Dublin fans, something I don’t think he will have ever faced before in his life.
