Philip De Fries Fights Luis Henrique At KSW50 After Grabowski Injury

KSW heavyweight champion Philip De Fries will now face Brazilian Luis Henrique after Damian Grabowski pulled out to injury .


Luis Henrique (12-5) it will be an opportunity of a lifetime to fight for the Heavyweight title at KSW 50th anniversary show at Wembley, London September 14th.  “KBL” will bring a wealth of experience having already fought in the UFC amassing a record of 2 wins & 4 losses coming from Francis N’Gannou, Marcin Tybura, Arjan Bhullar and Ryan Spann.  After a short spell with out fighting Henrique returned to cage at WOCS 53, where he faced Rodolfo Oliveria finishing him via a Guillotine choke in round 1. After that win KSW were quick to pick up the 26 year old  Brazilian. Where he was pitted against Polish man Michal Andryszak wining again via Guillotine choke in the 2nd round this time.  With Damian Grabowski out and Both Philip De Fries  and  Luis Henrique having beat Michal Andryszak this was seemingly the best and only fight to have as the main event.
