Poirier Out, Daniel Cormier & Derrick Lewis will headline UFC 230 Card
As i wake up this morning turn over and check my phone to see the news that there has been some major changes have been made overnight to the UFC 230 card.  The event, scheduled to take place at Madison Square Garden in New York on November 3rd, originally slated to be headlined by a flyweight title fight between Valentina Shevchenko and Sijara Eubanks. That fight is now off.
It will be replaced as the UFC 230 main event by a heavyweight title fight between Daniel Cormier and Derrick Lewis.
Challenger Lewis is just off the back of a dramatic win against Alexander Volkov at UFC 229 at the weekend, & possibly the best post fight interview we will ever see.
This will put an end to their Popeyes Chicken rivalry
BREAKING: Per Dana White, “the fight is done” between Daniel Cormier and Derrick Lewis at UFC 230 on Nov. 3 in New York.

Unfortunately Lightweight Dustin Poirier has been forced out of his co-main event fight against Nate Diaz undisclosed injury. MMAFighting.com confirmed the news late Tuesday

The status of Diaz and whether he will stay on the card is still up in the air, but there has been a number of call outs already,
As much as I would love to fight Nate at #MSG #ufc230 I said from day 1 I would never take a late notice fight I couldn’t be 100% ready for. Being able to perform at my best is priceless to me.
