PFL is the first organization ever to present MMA through a Regular Season, Playoffs and Championship format. The promotion returns for the final playoff event of the 2019 season at Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas.

All PFL heavyweight and light heavyweight competitors need to fight twice and win twice in one night to advance to the 2019 PFL World Championship on NYE in NYC, where a title and million-dollar prize will be on the line.

PFL 2019, Playoffs 3 takes place Thursday at Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas. The night’s prelims stream on ESPN+ at 5 p.m. ET, while the main card airs on ESPN2 at 8 p.m. ET.

Isaev vs. Goltsov:

#5 Ali Isaev defeats #1 Denis Goltsov by 3rd round TKO

#5 Ali Isaev advances to the heavyweight championship and will face #7 Jared Rosholt for $1 million and the division title.

Isaev remains undefeated in his career at 8-0 with his 3rd career knockout.

Rosholt vs. Tiller:

#7 Jared Rosholt defeats #4 Kelvin Tiller by unanimous decision.

#7 Jared Rosholt advances to the heavyweight championship and will face the winner of #1 Denis Goltsov vs. #5 Ali Isaev for $1 million and the division title.

Jared Rosholt was knocked out in his first fight of the season by Denis Goltsov. He then pulled off three straight upsets to make the final.

Sordi vs. Ataev

#1 Emiliano Sordi defeats #4 Bozigit Ataev by 1st round submission (rear-naked choke)

#1 Emiliano Sordi advances to the light heavyweight championship and will face #7 Jordan Johnson for $1 million and the division title.

Sordi has now won 4 straight fights by stoppage (3 knockouts, 1 submission). Last 3 wins all came in the 1st round.

All 21 of his career wins have come by stoppage (15 knockouts, 6 submissions)

Barroso vs. Nicholson:

#6 Francimar Barroso defeats #3 Alex Nicholson by unanimous decision.

#6 Francimar Barroso advances to the heavyweight semifinals to face #7 Jared Rosholt

Barroso is unbeaten in his last 7 fights (6 wins, 1 draw)

Goltsov vs. Ishii:

#1 Denis Goltsov defeats #8 Satoshi Ishii by majority decision.

#1 Denis Goltsov advances to the heavyweight semifinals to face #5 Ali Isaev

Goltsov gets his 6th straight win.

Isaev vs. Tiller:

#5 Ali Isaev defeats #4 Kelvin Tiller by unanimous decision.

#5 Ali Isaev advances to the heavyweight semifinals and will face the winner of #1 Denis Goltsov vs. #8 Satoshi Ishii.

Isaev remains undefeated and moves his career record to 7-0.

Rosholt vs. DeReese:

That is Rosholt’s first knockout win since 2015.

Johnson gets revenge on Maxim Grishin, who handed him his first career loss earlier this season.

Ataev vs. Nemkov:

Last season Ataev was eliminated in the semifinals by Vinny Magalhaes.

This will be a trilogy fight: Ataev and Sordi are 1-1 against each other (each defeated the other by 1st round knockout). Sordi’s knockout of Ataev came during this regular season. Ataev’s knockout of Sordi came in last season’s quarterfinals.
