NEW YORK– UFC on ESPN+ 1 will take place at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York on Saturday January 19, 2018.
Back on Monday, November 19th, TMZ reported that UFC flyweight fighter Rachael Ostovich had been hospitalized as she was a victim of a domestic violence attack. Ostovich did file a temporary restraining order against her husband Arnold Berdon.
At the time of this incident, Ostovich (4-4 MMA, 1-1 UFC) was forced out of her fight against Paige VanZant (7-4 MMA, 4-3 UFC). After getting a second opinion from a doctor today (Tuesday, November 27, 2018) Ostovich got cleared and will be fighting Paige which is less than two months away. Ostovich’s manager, Brian Butler with Suckerpunch Entertainment, confirmed the news to MMAjunkie.
Paige VanZant also confirmed the news with her post on her Instagram:
