Report – Danni McCormack vs. Manuela Marconetto added to Centurion FC event on July 2.

A strawweight pairing between Roscommon native, Danni McCormack, and Combate Global alum, Manuela Marconetto has been booked for a Centurion FC event on July 2. in Malta.

McCormack, who boasts a 5-1 professional record, makes her first outing since suffering her premier professional loss back at Bellator 275 in February in Dublin – dropping a first round knockout defeat against French upstart, Stephanie Page.

For Marconetto, the 2-1 prospect competed for the Cage Warriors Academy during her amateur career, most recently landing her second consecutive professional win with a unanimous decision win over Claudia Diaz at Combate Global in April of this year. Severe MMA reporter, Andy Stevenson was first to report the news of McCormack’s matchup against Marconetto. 

McCormack, 32, who plys her trade under the banners of SBG Ireland and Relentless Martial Arts & Fitness, had enjoyed a five fight undefeated run to kick start her professional career.

Competing on four occasions under the banner of the Scott Coker-led Bellator MMA – McCormack also holds a unanimous judging effort against Katharina Dalisda under the German promotional, National Fighting Championships. 

An IMMAF alum, McCormack holds career victories over Camila Rivarola, Chaira Penco, Claire Lopez, the aforenoted, Dalisda, and in her most rcent win back in November in the capital, stopped Audrey Kerouche with dominant third round ground strikes, 

Italian-born prospect, Marconetto, who trains under the banner of Great Britain Top Team, made her professional debut back in 2017 – suffering a majority decision loss to Roberta Zocco at the inaugural Golden Cage event.

Following a five year layoff from the sport, Marconetto returned at the beginning of this year, besting Stephanie Essensa, prior to his previously mentioned unanimous decision win against Diaz last month at Combate Global.
