Report – Taila Santos out, Mandy Bohm now meets Ariane Lipski on September 4th. in UFC debut

Brazilian flyweight knockout ace, Taila Santos is reportedly out of her slated September outing against promotional newcomer, the undefeated, Mandy ‘Monster’ Bohm — with former KSW flyweight champion, Ariane ‘The Queen of Violence’ Lipski now set to welcome the German to the Octagon for her promotional bow. 

17-1 knockout artist, Santos is set to miss out on a September 4th. pairing with Straight Blast Gym trainee, Bohm due to the official relocation of a targeted UFC Fight Night London event back to Las Vegas, Nevada in two months’ time, with VISA issues ruling the Jaragua do Sol native from proceedings. 

Per a report from MMA Fighting reporter, Guilherme Cruz this afternoon, Bohm is now set to meet with Santos’ compatriot, six-fight Octagon veteran, Lipski in her first outing under the UFC’s banner following her transition from Bellator. 

The Sept. 4 UFC event has officially been moved from London to Las Vegas, I’m told (@arielhelwani first reported the possibility),” Cruz reported. “As a result, Talia Santos is out of a fight with Mandy Bohm due to VISA issues, and Ariane Lipski is in, multiple sources told me.

Boasting an undefeated 7-0 record, Bohm, a native of Gelsenkirchen, last featured professionally against Griet Eeckhout at Bellator 247 in Milan, Italy in October of last year — scoring a unanimous decision win over the Belgian. 

Bohm was scheduled to meet with Malin Hermansson at a National Fighting Championship promoted event on home soil in May until the pairing was ultimately shelved prior to fight night. 

The promotion then attempted to field a UFC Vegas event on August 14th. which was scheduled to feature a bout between the aforenoted, Santos and Bohm — until the planned card was shelved in favour of a pursued UFC Fight Night London outing. With that card now relocated back to ‘Sin City’ — Bohm is slated to meet with Lipski.

Hoping to snap a two-fight skid and hand Bohm her first professional defeat, Lipski, a former KSW flyweight titleholder, last featured at UFC Vegas 28 where she suffered a second round knockout loss to Montana De La Rosa. 

Across her 20-fight professional career, Lipski has established a 13-7 professional record, nabbing victories over the likes of Sheila Gaff, Diana Belbita, Mariana Morais, Isabela de Padua, and compatriot, Luana Carolina — the last of which with a kneebar Submission of the Year contender last July on ‘Fight Island’.

The UFC Vegas event is scheduled to take place on September 4th. — with a middleweight pairing between division staple, Derek Brunson and one-time welterweight title challenger, Darren Till set to take main event honours.
