RIZIN Decade Results: Suzuki vs. Koike Featherweight Title Fight

RIZIN 49 occurred at the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan on December 31, 2024.

In the main event, Chihiro Suzuki will face former champion Kleber Koike for the featherweight title. Suzuki was the one to face Koike in 2023, but the Brazilian failed to make weight, was stripped of his title and the bout ended in a clean sheet.

Vugaru Kharamov, who Suzuki defeated to win featherweight gold, will be looking to take the lightweight title against Roberto Satoshi earlier in the evening. Flyweight champion Kyoji Horiguchi, a longtime UFC star who later became Bellator and RIZIN bantamweight champion, will compete in the co-main event, defending his 125-pound title against Nkajimuro Zulu.
