ROAD FC 051 XX will be the final event of 2018, and the next in the series of all-female fight cards. The main event of ROAD FC 051 XX will be Atomweight Champion Ham Seo-Hee, the inaugural belt holder, making her third defense against Challenger Park Jeong-Eun, Korea’s newest break out talent and former National Kickboxing Champion.

ROAD FC 051 Preliminary Card

The main event of the preliminary line up was to be Yang Hae-Jun (11-6, Team Posse) versus Jeon Uh-Jin (3-4, Monster House). However, Jeon did not pass a pre-fight medical check and the doctor has required him to undergo more testing. Therefore, the match will be cancelled.

As the new main event, highly entertaining Michel Pereira (20-9, Michel Demolidor Team) is back and will face late notice stand in Choi Won-Jun (3-2, MMA Story). Pereira put on quite a performance at his ROAD FC debut in July when he showcased his incredible kicks and gymnastic ability and defeated Yang Hae-Jun in the third round by TKO. Choi comes from an undefeated record as an amateur in the ROAD FC Central League before his pro career, and he’s on a two-fight win streak now, last defeating Jeon Uh-Jin by decision. This will be Choi’s biggest fight, and the “Showman” will deliver a very fun puzzle for him to solve.

“Crying Fist” veteran Park Hyung-Geun (2-3-2, Ssabi MMA) meets Arzalet tournament winner Shin Seung-Min (4-1, Ssen Gym) at featherweight. Park is hungry for a win after losing to long time rival Jang Dae-Young, and he will get a big chance to redeem himself against Shin, who is riding high on a four-fight win streak. Park’s aggression versus Jang’s counter offensive will make for an interesting match.

Thrilling Mongolian striker Nandin-Erdene (7-4, Team Fighter) returns to face hot rookie Yeo Je-Woo (2-0, Ssen Gym) in a catchweight bout. Nandin-Erdene delivered some highlight reel KOs during his participation in the ROAD FC $1 Million Tournament. Yeo is making his debut in the professional ranks of ROAD FC, however he had a great deal of experience as an amateur in the ROAD FC amateur leagues. This looks like a striker versus grappler match up, however, Yeo will be eager to show off his power punches against the former Mongolian boxing champion.

Two lightweight fighters start their climb into the deep division, Jang Jung-Hyuk (1-0-1, Kim Dae-Hwan MMA) and Max Handanagic (3-4, Junior MMA Nymburk). Both Jang and Handanagic are making their debuts in ROAD FC. With submission finishes on their records and long amateur careers behind them, both young prospects will add the excitement of the unknown for the fans.

Opening the card will be a heavy hitting light heavyweight match between Kim Ji-Hoon (1-2, Red Hook Multi Gym) vs Kim Tae-In (debut, Road Gym Gangnam MMA). These two rookies like to stand and throw punches, so they will open the event with a bang!
