Russian mixed martial artist and Combat Sambo World Champion, Rustam Khabilov visited KHK MMA Gym in Bahrain. He is the first Russian fighter to appear in a UFC main event. Khabilov interacted with the fighters of KHK MMA Fight Team and trained alongside the national team of Bahrain who is trained at the KHK MMA Gym. Over the years KHK MMA has attracted multiple fighters from around the world to visit Bahrain.
Khabilov trained alongside Eldar Eldarov and joined the sessions at KHK MMA. KHK MMA had previously joined hands with veteran coach Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov during Brave 12: KHK Legacy. This gave opportunity and international exposure for multiple fighters from Dagestan, Russia to be showcased at Brave Combat Federation. The presence of Khabilov at KHK MMA Bahrain is ascertained to have a positive influence for the formidable boost in grappling and wrestling for which the fight team is renowned for. KHK MMA Fight Team is also preparing the national team of Bahrain to prepare for the 2018 IMMAF World Championship held during the Brave International Combat Week held in Bahrain in November.
KHK MMA Bahrain was found by His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa and the initiative is among the top training facilities in the world. The previous week, former boxing champion, Amir Khan had visited KHK MMA Gym in wake of the first ever event scheduled by Brave Combat Federation in Europe.
